TIPPING Point fans have been left laughing hysterically after a contestant made a massive geographical gaffe on the show.
The player, called John, was asked which UK country the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal runs through - and he answered "Birmingham".
Tipping Point host Ben Shephard then yelled: "England!"
Viewers of the ITV1 gameshow were left giggling at the big blunder and were quick to share their amusement online.
One tweeted: "Grab your passports for a holiday in the exotic country of Birmingham!"
A second mused: "Birmingham that huge country!"

And a third chimed in: "Ah yes, that well known country in the UK, Birmingham!"
Someone else even declared: "Birmingham is a CITY!"
Later in the programme, John told Ben that he is a clinical support worker. He also mends musical instruments in his spare time.
John didn't make it all the way to the end but took away £1,150 as the episode's runner-up.

"I've enjoyed being here today," he said.
Meanwhile, earlier this week Ben teased a career change during another episode of Tipping Point.
Ben posed a question to the two contestants left in the second half of the show, which read: "In 2013, which reality TV star launched an aftershave called Fusey?"
Completely clueless, contestant Graham answered: "Ben Shephard."
After the contestant answered with the host's name, Ben smiled cheekily at the camera before saying that he'd be keen to launch an aftershave of his own.

He said: "I'd like to launch a range of my own aftershaves and scents and musks," before adding: "I think it would do very well."
The correct answer was former Towie star Joey Essex.
