AARON Sandford's abusive father made an appearance during last night's trip to Weatherfield.
But as he demanded his stolen weed back, Coronation Street fans mistook him for one of the Gallagher brothers.
The teen portrayed by James Craven has been romantically involved with Summer Spellman (played by Harriet Bibby) for several months.
In recent scenes of the ITV soap, Aaron decided to steal weed and alcohol money from his father Eric to stop him from indulging in his vices.
Sadly, Eric was quick to retaliate by causing a scene outside Webster's Autos, where his son works as an apprentice.
Eric brutally attacked Aaron right in front of Fiz Stape, Tyrone Dobbs and Maria Connor who had been having a friendly conversation.

While all three characters were in shock to see how violent Aaron's father really was towards him, ITV viewers were more flabbergasted by his appearance.
Many of them turned to Twitter to compare him to Liam and Noel Gallagher from popular Manchester rock band Oasis.
"Is that Noel Gallagher?", one fan quipped while another added: "Oops…looks like Liam Gallagher has turned up…"
A third soap fan jumped in: "I think Aarons dad looks just like Noel Gallagher."

Another viewer quipped: "A Poundland Noel Gallagher has just rocked up."
Eric Sandford is played by Wigan actor Craig Cheetham, best known for his role on Life on Mars.
He has also appeared in Max & Paddy's Road to Nowhere.
On-screen, Aaron tried to keep the ongoing abuse a secret, most notably from Summer but he eventually had no other choice but to tell her his father often brutalised him when he was drunk.

Later on in last night's episode of the long-running drama, Aaron took Summer's advice and told her guardian Billy Mayhew that he was being abused at home.
But things didn't go down smoothly due to a previous altercation with Paul Foreman, which led to Aaron hitting the latter.
Fans took to Twitter again to put Paul's behaviour on blast as he demanded that Aaron stayed away from Summer.
"Paul does know….that Summer and Aaron are not 12…right? Pretty sure they can make their own choices as to whether or not they are right for each other", one of them penned.
