Inside Game of Thrones star Lena Headey’s stunning Italian wedding as she marries Marc Menchaca

GAME of Thrones star Lena Headey jetted off to Italy to marry her fiance and Ozark actor Marc Menchaca in a stunning ceremony.

The actress – best known for playing Queen Cersei Lannister in the HBO series – was joined by co-stars Peter Dinklage and Sophie Turner for the intimate ceremony.

Lena, 49, married Ozark star Marc, 46, who is best known for playing Russ Langmore, in Italy at a small ceremony attended by the pair’s closest friends and family.

The blushing bride was seen in a white bridal gown and flowers in her hair as she posed for snaps with her new husband.

Meanwhile Marc looked smart in a grey suit, white shirt and pink tie – which matched the bride’s blush coloured flowers.

The newlyweds were seen looking lovingly towards each other as they cuddled up in front of their guests while saying ‘I do’.

Another snap saw Lena and Marc posing with a friend, as the Cersei actress stuck out her tongue, showing off her arm and back tattoos.

The couple looked to be sipping on cocktails as they cosied up to their pal, who went on to share a snap with Tyrion Lannister actor Peter, 53.

While elsewhere other guests posed for selfies at the ceremony, including Sansa Stark actress Sophie, 26, and her husband Joe Jonas.

Pop legend Rick Astley also made an unlikely appearance at the ceremony – posing alongside more of the couple’s friends.

Lena married her first husband – musician Peter Loughran – in 2007, with the pair divorcing in 2013 after welcoming son Wylie, 11.

In 2015, the actress welcomed her second child, daughter Teddy, with her then-boyfriend Dan Cadan, before separating in 2018.

She met Ozark actor Marc in 2020, and the couple confirmed their relationship in November of the same year.

After the pair confirmed their relationship, sources revealed Lena was planning on relocating to the US for good.

A source revealed: “Lena now sees herself living in the States for the foreseeable future.

“It’s where the parts are for her and she’s got a blossoming relationship with Marc so she sees no point in her living in the UK.

“Dan is still pretty cut up about the break-up and is worried about how often he’ll see his little girl as she plans to take him with her when she moves from London.”

Lena played Cersei Lannister in the HBO fantasy drama series.

She received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award nomination for the role.

And she also starred in 300, The Purge and telly series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
