Strictly chaos as FOUR stars fall ‘very very ill’ in ‘traumatic week’

FOUR unfortunate Strictly Come Dancing stars fell ‘very very ill’ in a ‘traumatic week’ that left the show in chaos last week.

Contestant Fleur East shared the traumatic news on the HITS radio breakfast show, as she chatted to co-host James Barr and producer Matt about the past week at Strictly.

The radio host explained: “There were a few mentions on Saturday night, but it was a tough week for a lot of people in the competition.”

She continued, “Hamza [Yassin] was very, very sick, so was Will [Mellor] and so was Kym [Marsh] and we didn’t say anything on Saturday but Vito [Coppola] was really ill last week too.”

“I got one full day of rehearsal with him.”

The former X-factor contestant went on to explain how her dance partner was floored by the bug, adding: “Everyone was getting the flu! So, he was out for the count and in bed – he didn’t move for two days.”

“I started freaking out on Thursday because I was like oh my gosh, I’ve had to practice with someone else,”

“And as soon as Vito did make it to rehearsals, he was a different height, had a different stance – it was like a brand-new routine I had to learn.”

The singer-songwriter went on to explain: “In the end we got about six hours together before production rehearsal on Friday,”

“But I think when you have that added pressure you just pull it out from somewhere.”

“We were both like right we were in the dance off last week, we need to just get this done,”

“He was sweating and everything but somehow, we pulled it together!”

The revelations came after Strictly fans took to twitter to express their fears for Will Mellor, who appeared really sick on Saturday’s show after spending the week bed bound with the flu.

One fan wrote: “Poor Will, you can see and hear how poorly he is. He’s definitely getting our votes. Don’t want him in the dance off bless him.”

Sunday evening’s episode saw the departure of yet another couple, with Matt Goss and partner Nadiya Bychkova receiving the least votes from the judges, after being left in the bottom two with Kym and Graziano.
