LOVE Island star Toby Aromolaran has taken a bitter swipe at his ex girlfriend Chloe Burrows after their break-up was revealed.

The former ITV2 dating show star - who rose to fame in 2021 - took to TikTok to hit out that he "needs to be single" in a new video.

It was revealed today that Toby, 23, and girlfriend Chloe, 27, have gone their separate ways after a year together.

Now, the reality TV star has made a brutal swipe at his ex in a new video, joking that he "needs to be single" in a viral clip.

"I don't need to BeReal, I need to BeSingle," he wrote over a clip of himself smiling, wearing a plain purple hoodie.

Fans were quick to flood the comments section to voice their shock, as they announced they had "lost all faith in love".

"No, because I'll lose all faith in love if you do," one said, as a second chimed in: "Aren't you single now anyway? Sad."

"I thought this was a joke, but damn you have been waiting for this," a third chimed in underneath the video, which has been viewed just under one million times.

It comes after sources confirmed that Chloe and Toby decided to "go their separate ways" a year after leaving the show together.

The insider revealed today: "Chloe and Toby have decided to go their separate ways. They have grown apart and there's no major hard feelings.

"Toby is currently staying with a friend while they work out what to do."

Over the weekend, Chloe told her followers: “You know I f***ed off for a week to Morocco with Millie… yo all I had to say was I want to go and she did everything. Millie Court deserves the f***ing world.”

Chloe also hinted at the split last weekend when she joked about marrying Amber Gill on social media.

The pair first sparked fears among their fans earlier this year when they went weeks without being pictured together.

The Sun told how the pair held crisis talks in April after their busy work schedules kept them apart.

They later celebrated a year together and Chloe even revealed that Toby had proposed to her - but she said no.

In a recent video Chloe said: "He actually asked me and I said no."

Toby then explained: "You know why she said that, because I told the newspapers that if someone's gonna get married and someone's gonna propose then Chloe's getting down on one knee."

Unimpressed by the idea of popping the question herself, Chloe said: "I'll never f***ing do that though, so you'll have to do it."

Chloe and Toby came in second place on the ITV2 dating show during series seven behind winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Their road to love in the villa was anything but a smooth one, with Toby dumping Chloe to pursue a romance with Abigail Rawlings.
