Before going live on air, a hair stylist and make-up artist made their final touches so that everything looked perfect.

The video finished with the broadcast meteorologist informing viewers of Monday's weather.

Laura captioned the post: "A morning in the life of ME! As filmed by @debbiedresses. What a transformation #ManicMonday."

It comes after Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley stunned fans as he snapped at Laura earlier today on the show.

The ITV anchor, 60, called out the meteorologist for not detailing her forecast in Fahrenheit - leading to the popular TV star looking visibly shocked.

In her summary of the weather ahead, Laura told Good Morning Britain viewers: "For our mature viewers, people in my bracket, 20/22 [Celsius], what's that, 68/70 in Fahrenheit?"

After admitting she wasn't clued up on the alternative form of measurement, Richard hit back: "You're joking, you're a weather person and you don't know Fahrenheit?

"Let me tell you, 20 is 68 and 21 is 70."

Laura first appeared on Good Morning Britain as a weather presenter in 2014.

Back in September fans were delighted when Des Coleman hosted the weather instead of Laura.

He played Lenny Wallace in EastEnders between 1996 and 1999.
