FORMER Towie star Joey Essex showed off his ripped body whilst posing on Instagram, after vowing he'd win Dancing on Ice.
The star was announced as a contestant on the ITV Ice skating competition, after revealing he had auditioned nine years ago but been rejected.
The 31-year-old rose to fame on reality TV show Towie and is now joining the 2023 cast of Dancing on ice.
Posting to Instagram, Joey danced to "Spin Doctors - Two Princes" shirtless, wearing just joggers, trainers, a cap and gloves.
He captioned the post: "Dancing On Ice, without the ice & without the skates 🫣 almost there… ❄️#dancingonice"
The post has already raked in 9000 likes, with one follower commenting: "Looking fit and healthy, you're gonna smash the ice!"
Another wrote: "Looking gooooood Mr Essex"
The reality TV star recently revealed he was 'lucky to have his finger' after an accident whilst training on the ice.

He explained on his Instagram story: "I've ended up with a metal finger, I'm lucky to still have the finger to be honest.
"You live and learn. If you are ever going to be a dancer on the ice, don't take risks straight away. Go slow. It's all about patience."
After announcing his place on the show, Joey vowed he would win the show, chatting on This Morning, he stated: "I wanted something in my life.. I quite like structure.
"This is more serious for me - I've done all the dating shows.
"I like doing serious stuff, but it's scary, it's a competition.
"I would love to win. I'm going to put all my energy into this."

He explained he had already been approached by the show in 2013: "When I came out the jungle in 2013 we went to meet the producers,
"Did the interview then went on the ice and was messing about," he explained.
"I was a bit more mature back then. I'd like to say I've matured and grown up since then.
"Back then it probably wouldn't have been right for me. I believe that and I think the producers knew that as well."
