The comedian looked deep in thought as she enjoyed a cone of ice cream as she walked along the streets.

Emily captioned the post: "Mood."

The comedian played Charlotte "Big Jugs" for all three series of the Inbetweeners.

Her alter-ego was seen as the most attractive girl in school - and protagonist Will McKenzie (Simon Bird) had a crush on her.

The pair locked lips a number of times and even planned to take things a little further... but it never happened.

After her stint on the show, she landed a number of roles in other TV shows.

Emily has starred in Dad's Army, Birds of a Feather and Urban Myths.

She has also starred in other shows as herself, including I'm A Celebrity, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Celebrity Juice.

The Emily Atack shows premiered in 2020.

It is a comedy TV show that involves her stand-up shows and sketches.

Earlier this month the star split from her Big Brother tree surgeon Liam McGough after their seven month romance.

A source revealed: "Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but sadly have decided to separate.

"They kept their relationship private for a while and only went public when the news broke that they were together.

"Sadly, they decided they were better off as friends and parted ways a few days ago, but it's all very amicable."

Over the weekend Emily revealed that she's been having a "hard" time lately after her shock break-up.

The actress and comedian admitted she had been facing some "struggles".

The Inbetweeners star said she has turned to poetry during her down days, including The Orange by Wendy Cope, which ends with the sentence: "I love you. I'm glad I exist."

Reflecting on some of her happy memories recently, Emily shared a series of photos, including her enjoying a coffee, taking an impromptu selfie, hugging a horse and a sweet photo of her dog lying on her bed.

She wrote: "Things have been hard lately. In more ways than one, for so many people.

"One thing I’ve found a great love for is poetry, and when facing some personal struggles of my own, I turn to them, and I remembered this poem today.

"One of my absolute favourites - The Orange by Wendy Cope. It reminds me to appreciate tiny moments of joy when they come my way.

"A day might be made up of a few, or just one or two. Try to look out for them, don’t miss them."
