I’m A Celeb’s Chris Moyles’ rider includes exercise bike in quarantine before heading into camp

I’M A Celebrity’s Chris Moyles has asked for a rider of an exercise bike and music system to help keep himself slim during the show’s quarantine.

The former BBC Radio 1 DJ touched down in Australia yesterday and has put his requests into ITV bosses – who are making all of this year’s stars go into lockdown before heading into camp.

Chris, 48, has previously struggled with body dysmorphia and lost six stone in weight.

A source said: “Chris has put in his requests to ITV to make sure he is happy during quarantine.

“He can’t be without music and has asked if he can have a sound system so he can play his tunes loud in his room.

“As well as this Chris has asked for an exercise bike to be delivered to his room.

“All of the celebrities have to quarantine for a week and Chris loves to keep fit now – so having a bike in his room means he can keep up his routine.

“Without these things it would have been a miserable week for him.”

Chris has spoken openly about his previous battle with his weight.

He reached 18 stone in weight before deciding to take drastic action – overhauling his diet and lifestyle.

Chris said in 2020: “I'm fascinated by body dysmorphia because I really have an issue with body dysmorphia, which I think most people do.

“I've lost six stone from my worst weight when I was 18 stone.”

To shift the pounds, Chris said he would train up to five times a week and would do intermittent fasting.

He said: "I don't have the metabolism of an 18-year-old girl or boy, I just don’t.

“I weigh myself six days a week, and I know you shouldn't and I know it's not for everyone, but I do that so I can learn about how my body works.

“I will train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and I will watch what I eat and I'll eat very little.

“I do intermittent fasting and I'll eat at 6:30pm or 7pm and I'll be fine. I need to do that from the weekends that I have.”

The stars of this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity started arriving in Australia on Monday.
