MAFS UK star reveals secret near-death health scare after finding ‘blood clot in her lung’
A MARRIED At First Sight UK star has revealed her secret near-death health scare after finding a "blood clot in her lung".
Reality TV star Jess O'Connor - who rose to fame on the controversial dating show this year - told her fans she "almost had a stroke" during the horrifying ordeal.
Jess, 31, took to her Instagram stories on Thursday to open up about her health scare, which saw her rushed to hospital two years ago.
She posted a video of her cosying up to her cat from October 2020, when she had "just got out of hospital".
"Throwback to two years ago when I had a blood clot in my lung and almost had a stroke," Jess captioned the stories post.
"He deffo missed me," she added off her sweet cat, who cuddled up against her chest as she kissed him on the head.

It comes after the MAFS UK star opened up about having trust issues after her boyfriend bedded her step-mum behind her back.
She opened up in a tell-all interview about the traumatic moment, which tore her family apart and left her feeling suicidal.
Jess, who failed to find love with her Dreamboys stripper husband Pjay Finch on the E4 show, had been with her ex, then 24, for four years and they’d just bought a house together.
She considered him part of the family, and thought nothing of leaving him drinking with her step-mum, then 52, to go to bed one night, while the rest of the family slept upstairs.

"We were pretty serious when we were together,” Jess, from Cambridge, exclusively told The Sun Online.
"We had just got a mortgage and he was even planning on proposing to me. We had long term plans.
"My step-mum had been in my life for 25 years and she did that to me. She was like my second mum!
“She even knew my family before I was born. The most upsetting thing about it all was how they both betrayed me like that.”
Jess recalls how on the night it happened in January 2018 - three months after buying their house - they’d been staying at her dad and step-mum’s house along with her younger brother and sister.
Jess is now happy in a new relationship and is thankful she’s been able to put her faith into someone else after everything she’s endured.
She recently debuted her new boyfriend for the first time - saying she was "in love" just weeks after exiting the show.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about her romance, Jess said: "I have no regrets, I've come off the show and met my boyfriend who we now live together.
