What is Matt Hancock’s dyslexia campaign?
The campaign has been mentioned here and there as Matt pledges to raise awareness to dyslexia during his I’m a Celeb stint.
But what is it he is doing to help people with dyslexia?
Matt launched a dyslexia screening campaign back in March of this year.
He urges primary schools to require screening for children, as four out of five leave school without a diagnosis, and face struggles throughout life without the right support.
Speaking to Chamber UK, Matt Hancock said: “Thank you to everyone supporting my dyslexia campaign.
“We need better screening, teacher training and support for dyslexia in schools so every child can fulfil their potential.”
As was noted by the former Health and Social Care Secretary in the Bill late last year he admitted having dyslexia makes him “think different”.
He said: “Yes, we have problems with the written word and word formation, but dyslexia is associated with positive skills, too: creativity, visualisation, imagination and lateral thinking.
“Those are the skills that dyslexics tend to have in abundance and that the future of work values more and more.”
What will this year’s Ozzie camp look like?
After being filmed in a creepy castle in Wales for two years, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns home to Australia.

On night three, two lucky campers will win their chance to snooze inside it for one evening.

What are the I’m A Celebrity Bushtucker Trials?
This year’s celebs will be tackling some brutal challenges, known to all of us as the ‘Bushtucker Trials’.
The task that contestants face will give them the opportunity to win meals for camp.
The more stars they collect during a task, the more meals they win.
If they fail to win any stars then they have to survive off basic staples – like beans and rice.
Each trial usually involves getting close to Aussie critters like cockroaches, maggots and snakes.
Matt Hancock explains why he is entering the jungle
Writing in The Sun, Tory MP Matt Hancock has given his reasons for entering the jungle next week.
“While there will undoubtedly be those who think I shouldn’t go, I think it’s a great opportunity to talk directly to people who aren’t always interested in politics, even if they care very much about how our country’s run.
“It’s our job as politicians to go to where the people are — not to sit in ivory towers in Westminster.”
Boy George won’t have an easy ride on I’m a Celeb
The singer is a strict vegetarian, so that rules out a lot of the gross bush tucker trials.
However, there will still be some gruesome alternatives for George, says Olly Nash, producer.
Olly told : “We have always got alternatives if people are vegan or vegetarian and either need to eat in camp, and don’t want to eat the main meal, or for the trials.”
