I’m A Celebrity star reveals Hollywood ambition after leaving camp
I’M A Celebrity star Owen Warner has revealed that he is eyeing up a move into Hollywood.
The Hollyoaks actor, 23, who has starred as Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 series since 2018, described how he would love to bag a role in a film or TV series.
Asked if he would transition to film from the soap, he told the Front Left podcast: “Yeah. Hollyoaks is my first paid job so I have never been that audition actor, never been in that process of being out of work for months and months and waiting for a part to come.
“But I would love to do films, I would love to do a series.”
He continued: “That is the thing - in the future whenever Hollyoaks or myself decide my time is done there that is the plan. I want to play loads of different roles.”
Asked if he would make the move to the U.S, Owen added: “There is quality stuff being made all around England so I feel if I was going to progress my career I feel I would want to make more of a name for myself in England before going over to America.

“Hollyoaks is good but it’s not making a name for myself. There is so much work out there that you would have to add strings, add to your CV, add to your portfolio so people know you can play a range of different parts and take you seriously.
“Then you go over to America and people go: ‘Oh he has done all this kind of stuff.’”

It comes after the actor has already had viewers in stitches with his hilarious one-liners.
Before heading off to his first Bushtucker Trial with Corrie star Sue Cleaver, 59, and Mike Tindall, 44, Owen confessed that he was scared of running snakes.
Meanwhile when Scarlette Douglas, 35, appeared, Boy George, 61, said: "She's from A Place in the Sun!" Before Owen hilariously asked: "Whereabouts?"
"Owen really cracks me up," one viewer said on Twitter.
