EASTENDERS' fans were left cringing as Whitney Dean is rejected after making a move on an very unexpected resident.

Finlay and Felix are determined to throw a party, but Whitney is initially not convinced.

Until the boys mention that Zack is looking for love, and promise to do all the cleaning up, Whitney has a change of heart.

Glammed up in a sparkly black number, Whitney is waiting for Zack to get to the party.

However, he arrives with another girl, Mandy, and can't understand Whitney's reaction until Felix tells him that her dress was for him.

Meanwhile, Finlay consoles Whitney with a pep talk reassuring her that there any many other guys out there for her.

But Whitney misreads his the situation and moves in for a kiss.

Finlay jumps up and tells her that he sees her as a best friend.

Feeling rejected and humiliated, Whitney heads upstairs for an early night as the party continues downstairs.
