Richard Madeley slammed by Good Morning Britain viewers over ‘offensive’ remark as they call for his replacement
RICHARD Madeley left Good Morning Britain viewers furious today over an “offensive” remark live on air.
The TV presenter speculated US President Joe Biden was “senile” following the news Donald Trump will run for office again in 2024.
He made the comment after Biden, 80, referred to Cambodia as Colombia in front of the Cambodian PM last week.
Weeks earlier, he was mocked for stumbling over Rishi Sunak’s name in a speech praising the new PM, who is a practising Hindu and the first non-white PM.
He said: “Just today, we’ve got news that ‘Rashid Sanook’ is now the prime minister. As my brother would say, ‘Go figure!’”
But viewers weren’t happy with Richard’s personal attack on the politician.

Another viewer scoffed: “Partridge calling someone borderline senile?”
And a fifth shared their wish to send the presenter to the moon.
They said: “Richard Madeley calling Joe Biden borderline senile. Can we please put Richard Madeley on the Artemis rocket launch….pleasssssse!”
GMB viewers were delighted to see Ed Balls in the hot seat last month in place of Richard.
Former politician Ed has co-hosted with Susanna Reid many times before, and viewers love their chemistry.
