Leslie Ash’s bar and restaurant business collapses with debts of nearly £1m
ACTRESS Leslie Ash’s bar and restaurant business has gone up in smoke with debts of nearly £1million.
Paperwork lodged with Companies House confirmed the Men Behaving Badly star, 62, has called in liquidators for her firm Souk.
It owes £974,107 to 12 creditors, including suppliers, HMRC and BT.
Leslie’s husband — former Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday striker Lee Chapman, also 62 — is owed £869,933.
Liquidators believe Chapman, who is also a company director, and the other creditors will be left out of pocket as Souk’s assets amount to £186,999.
Documents revealed Ash has agreed "the company be wound up voluntarily."
