Strictly’s Tyler West breaks silence after rumours of a ‘feud’ with judge Craig Revel Horwood
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s latest casualty Tyler West has broken his silence on Craig Revel Horwood’s harsh dig about his hips.
Fans of the BBC One show were left convinced they had spotted a ‘feud’ between Tyler and Craig due to the remark on Saturday night.
Tyler had performed an energetic salsa with professional partner Dianne Buswell in Blackpool and was left feeling like they had “smashed it”.
However, 57-year-old Craig later made a sly comment about Tyler’s moves while critiquing his fellow celebrity contestant Will Mellor.
Craig had said: “There was so much hip content, I think you need to go backstage and teach Tyler a thing or two about that.”
Tyler, 26, has now had his say on Craig’s comment, branding it ‘unnecessary’.

In an appearance on Strictly‘s spin-off show It Takes Two, Tyler said: “I mean… I don’t know how necessary that was.”
But smoothing out any row, he carefully added: “You know what, all the judges, they make their comments and I’m so grateful to be able to dance in front of them and have their comments each week and work with them on the show.
“They’re all absolutely amazing in their own right and it’s part of it. You take it on board and you grow with it and try and work harder.”
Sadly for Tyler and 33-year-old Dianne, they were eliminated during Sunday night’s Strictly Results Show.
The pair had found themselves in the dance off alongside CBBC star Molly Rainford and her partner Carlos Gu, who had performed a jive.
Craig opted to save Molly and Carlos, along with Motsi Mabuse.
Anton Du Beke chose to save Tyler and Dianne but, as head judge, Shirley Ballas was given the deciding vote and sent them packing.
Speaking about the outcome, radio DJ Tyler admitted he and Dianne were surprised to find themselves in the bottom two.
“The reaction after the dance with the audience that was there, was like… the judges were standing and we thought we’d smashed it. It looked really good!” he admitted.

“Seeing the reaction from everyone at home is just amazing. Everybody had so much positive stuff to say about it and were grooving in living rooms.”
He added: “We genuinely gave it our all and I couldn’t have done anymore than that.”
