I’m A Celeb fans work out why Mike Tindall is smashing life in the jungle
I’M A Celebrity fans are convinced that Mike Tindall is made for life in the jungle for one major reason.
The rugby player – who has become a much-loved campmate among his co-stars – has been throwing himself into the Bushtucker trials, become the designated spider catcher and can light a fire within seconds.
But fans think that life in camp is actually pretty easy for Mike, as opposed to his time as a rugby player on tour.
ITV viewers have joked that eating creepy crawlies and sleeping in rough conditions is rather tame compared to the hardcore rugby initiations that he had to endure when he was a member of the England squad.
One fan said: “The rugby initiation ceremonies have come in handy for Magic Mike.”

Another posted: “Mike has drank these drinks before in his Rugby initiation days. No trouble #ImACeleb”
A third echoed: “You know why Mike Tindall is doing do well on #ImACeleb The whole thing is basically a rugby club tour. Trials are nothing compared to a rugby initiation ceremony.”
Another joked: “Mike Tindall on #ImACeleb will blitz it I mean rugby players eat others s*** and p*** from a pint glass as an initiation don’t they?”
It comes after Ant and Dec announced a shake-up last night, with just four days to go until the final.
This series has only seen two camp leaders – Matt Hancock followed by Mike, but his stint was cut short as they scrapped the role.
Ant revealed: “Here’s a fact for you: Mike is no longer camp leader.
“Now that the celebrities are leaving every day, there won’t be any more camp leaders.”
Dec added: “There are no more chores for anybody – it’s a free for all from here on in.”
Last night Boy George became the latest star to get the boot, following in the footsteps of Sue Cleaver, Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White.
On Sunday the winner of this series will be announced in a movie-length finale.
There have been a number of changes already this series as the show returned to Australia for the first time in three years.
One of the biggest shake-ups comes when the stars get eliminated.
They will no longer be checking into the iconic Palazzo Versace Hotel – and will instead be staying in a Marriott near by.

A telly insider said: “ITV has used the Versace ever since the series came to Queensland in 2004. Those classic scenes of the muddy, exhausted celebs arriving in the glamorous, gleaming lobby are part of I’m A Celeb’s very fabric.
“The new hotel is lovely, but just different to the bouji opulence of the Versace, which is so well-known to viewers.”
