I’m A Celebrity winner ‘revealed’ alongside surprise runner-up according to shock Sun poll

LIONESS Jill Scott will be crowned Queen of the Jungle tomorrow night, according to a Sun readers poll.

But perhaps more surprising is whom the bombshell research has named as runner-up - Lazarus MP Matt Hancock, 44.

While 29 per cent of the 14,965 readers who voted said Jill, 35, was their winner, 26 per cent named Matt.

Some 23 per cent of readers think former England rugby captain Mike Tindall, 44, should win and 16 per cent voted for Hollyoaks’ hunk Owen Warner, 23.

It suggests after Jill, Matt could come second, followed by Mike in third place and Owen in fourth.

Seann Walsh, 36, attracted just three per cent of votes.

When Hancock signed up for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! he had the whip removed, meaning he could not vote in Parliament.

He faced a massive backlash for his mismanagement during the pandemic and rule-breaking affair with his aide Gina Coladangelo, and viewers voted for him to endure six consecutive trials.

Now 70 per cent of Sun readers say they’ve seen a new side to Matt and have enjoyed watching him on the ITV show.

Almost 80 per cent said they thought the campmates had been rude to the Tory MP.

Elsewhere, the poll showed the messy Grot Yoga trial completed by Boy George, Mike and Seann was the viewers’ fave task.

Low down the pecking order was Who Wants To Look Silly On Air, a live game that married ITV classic Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with a Bushtucker Trial.

Just 9 per cent of our readers rated the epic challenge.

And it’s good news for hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 47, as 85 per cent said they still “love” the Geordie duo leading the show.

Some 11 per cent, however, said it was “time for a change”.

The lads have hosted the programme ever since it first aired in 2002, with Ant forced to miss just one series in 2018 while he recovered from his alcohol addiction.

Holly Willoughby stepped in to host alongside Dec.
