Celebs Go Dating first look: Ladies’ man Gary Lucy squirms as he’s snubbed after asking out Pete Wicks’ love interest

CELEBS Go Dating star Gary Lucy is rejected by a Scottish brunette he asks on a date during tonight's show.

An exclusive clip reveals the ladies' man, 41, suffer a setback when he's turned down at the mixer.

Viewers last night saw Gary go after his rival Pete Wicks' love interest.

Pete had earlier been flirting with her at the garden party where the celebs were looking for a date.

Gary joked he'd have to "punch" Pete to give him a clear run at winning over the beauty.

After a brief chat, Gary asks her: "So what you saying then? You fancy going on a date?"

The brunette looks awkward as she pauses and takes a deep breath as she prepares to let the Hollyoaks actor down.

"Honestly, I think you're amazing," she says.

"And you've got a lot of very similar things in my life, but I just didn't feel a connection."

Dating agent Anna Williamson who is looking on at Gary's encounter alongside Tom Read Wilson, says: "I mean it's a bit awkward."

Meanwhile it will be revealed tonight whether Pete is luckier in love than Gary.

He's back at the agency for a third time in a desperate attempt to improve his relationships.

Hinting he remains unsuccessful following the process, Pete told us: "No f**ker will put up with me!

"I think it's because I believe in soulmates, marriage and kids and all that stuff.

"But I would rather stay on my own than settle for anything other than exactly what I feel like I want, if that makes sense?

"I believe in the fairy tale, I want the fairy tale. I just haven't had it yet."
