Gassing horror at New Year’s as entire EastEnders family left fighting for their lives
THE New Year is fast approaching Albert Square and residents are determined to celebrate.
But one EastEnders family will be left in danger after a carbon monoxide leak - who will survive?
Many hardships have left the Slater clan reeling this year and it's no surprise they all hope for better days to come in 2023.
Unfortunately, the year will end on another low note for the family and death could be in the cards.
Coming up, the Slater NYE party is in full swing when Jean (played by Gillian Wright) is in her bedroom, fretting about Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) getting cold feet and standing her up.
Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) on the other hand is shaken to see her love interest Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) with husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry).

Bobby Beale alerts them that Lily has collapsed in the hallway and the paramedics arrive with a shocking statement.
They tell everyone to evacuate the house immediately - it's a carbon monoxide leak.

Whether the Slaters all leave the hospital unscathed remains to be seen but the leak is bound to reignite a feud.
After speaking to a cagey Eve in later scenes, Nish is convinced the family will be suing over their boiler, the main cause of the carbon monoxide leak.
Later on, an enraged Nish is ranting about Harvey as Suki takes a call from the Health and Safety Investigator.
They know who is at fault.
