STRICTLY star Will Mellor wants to relaunch his pop career following his success on the dance show.
The Coronation Street actor, 46, enjoyed a very brief music career after leaving Hollyoaks back in 1997.
Will had a top five hit with Leo Sayer's 'When I Need You', but his follow-up single failed to reach the top 20.
But despite being a pop flop the first time around, the popular dancer said life was too short not to try it again.
Will exclusively told The Sun: "Strictly is the most I have been tested both mentally and physically.
"The pressure is unbelievable. It is terrifying but it is also exhilarating when you accomplish things.

"Now I have the bug to accomplish lots of things."
"Next year I want to do a book. I want to do music because I love singing and keep putting that on the backburner. I'm not sure what that will be exactly yet.
"I want to do some travel shows. I want to see the world.
"I have written a travel show called Where There's A Will, which sees me travel to different places and do adventures.

"There's lots of things I want to do so watch this space. You will all be sick of me next year."
Crediting his Strictly success for his newfound confidence the Broadchurch and Line of Duty star said: "My mind often doubts me a lot and tells me I can't do something.
"It has stopped me from doing things like this for a long time, including Strictly.
"I have always been worried about what people would say and I have listened to people saying it would damage my acting career.
"But losing my dad has changed all that.
"Life is for living. It isn't a rehearsal. We have one life and you need to live it to the max."
Will and his pro partner Nancy Xu are one the bookies' favourites to waltz off with this year's title.
The five semi-finalists will perform two dances each in tonight's delayed show.
And Will admitted he was struggling with the extra workload.
He said: "This week has been going bad. My brain hurts, my legs hurt, my back hurts.
"I feel like I’ve been run over by lots of small cars.
"I've been having to use my wife's foot spa a lot.
"Learning one dance is hard enough but learning two is another level.
