The famous family issued a joint statement to hint that they were leaving the show to take on other telly opportunities when they quit earlier this year.

It read: “We have loved every second of being part of the Gogglebox family and it’s truly been the opportunity of a lifetime.

“With lots of exciting opportunities approaching for us all, we just couldn’t commit to filming another series, but are so grateful for the opportunity.

“Thank you for all your support whilst we have been on the show. We hope that you’re as excited as we are for what’s coming next!

“Much love, The Baggs 💙.”

George recently to highlight the bad beds singles get put up with when visiting family and friends over the festive season.

The star, who is single himself and “on the lookout” for a special someone, opened up on sleeping arrangements over Christmas in the Baggs’ household.

“We squabble about a few things but to be fair sleeping arrangements isn’t really one of them, I’m not too bothered if I have to jump on the sofa, as long as I’ve got my earplugs and eye mask I’m all good,” George admitted.
