Emmerdale fans swoon over ‘fit’ nanny Nicky – but he’s a recipe for disaster

EMMERDALE fans have been left swooning over the show's "fit" nanny - but he may not be who he says he is.

During the latest episode of the long-running ITV soap viewers were introduced to the new character.

He was applying for the job as a nanny at Home Farm.

Gabby and Dawn were tasked with recruiting the nanny by Kim as the pair sorted through applications.

Fans watched as Kim, Billy, Darn and Gabby held the formal interviews and interviewed the hopefuls.

One of them was a very strict and old-fashioned nanny, however, Kim was left surprised when Gabby and Dawn did not want to employ her.

The pair were impressed though with Nicky - a male nanny who applied for the position.

Nicky was later left delighted when he was offered the job and asked to meet the children.

Fans at home were left swooning over the hunk - but they're convinced he's hiding something.

"Well helloooooo Nicky," said one viewer.

Another said: "Something sinister about Nicky already."

"Nicky is so hot," said a third viewer.

While a fourth posted: "Nicky seems really dodgy."

Lewis Cope, who is playing the role of Nicky, has teased all may not be what it seems with the new nanny.

"At the moment he's a lovely person, and there's nothing to say," he teased.

"He kind of fits the bill. He is almost too good to be true though, but we'll have to wait and see."
