Gogglebox legends Marcus and Mica quit show just weeks after family tragedy
GOGGLEBOX icons Marcus and Mica suffered a family tragedy just two months before announcing their exit from the show.
The popular pairing, who have let cameras into their homes for the past five years, shocked fans today when they announced they will no longer appear on the Channel 4 show.
They shared a brief statement on Instagram that read: "We've had so much fun with you all tuning in at home & the hard-working Gogglebox crews but it's time to put down the remote and see what God has in store for us."
Back in October, Mica thanked fans for their support after a death in the family.
She said in an emotional post: "To everyone that has sent love, prayers, concern, well wishes and condolences to our family, on behalf of Marky & I we thank you.
"I Hope you all have a blessed Day and remember to enjoy each other, blow the dust off them board games, catch some joke, life and memories are so precious."

Gym owner Marcus also shared their sad news on his Instagram page.
"As most of you may already know, I have had a bereavement in my family," he wrote.
"As a result, the gym will be closed today. Both children and adult sessions are cancelled whilst my family celebrate the life of our loved one."
Fans sent them well wishes, with one writing: "Oh sweetheart sorry your hurting big hugs and loads of love to you all x x"
Another said: "Hope you're okay hun, Prayers to the family xx"
Mica and Marcus shot to fame in 2018 when they joined the Channel 4 show for its 11th series.
They were originally joined by Mica's two daughters Sachelle and Shuggy, but the girls decided to opt out of more recent series.
Recently, hairstylist Mica shared an adorable snap of their blended family - which included Marcus' rarely-seen son Shiloh and Mica's youngest son Yash.
And she revealed her joy back in July when she became a grandmother.
