EMMERDALE'S David Metcalfe has wowed viewers with his striking new hairstyle.
The shopkeeper, played by Matthew Wolfenden, has been going through a tough time and been forced to sell up in the current economic crisis.

After putting up the For Sale signs, David's ex Leyla reassured him nobody would buy the shop before Christmas.
However, fans were more interested in David's new buzzcut look.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "Liking David’s new haircut, he just needs to stop whinging…"
Another wrote: "Has David had a haircut since last night?"

David is struggling financially and dad Eric refuses to help.
He confirmed that he's spoken to step-son Jacob and decided to sell the house as well as the shop.
Does this mean Matthew is leaving the ITV soap?

More recently David covered for Leyla and tried to get help for her when he discovered her drugs problem.
With both their relationships currently on the rocks, could romance once again be on the cards for Leyla and David?
