Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS customers livid over ‘cheap quality’ clothes & ‘no refunds’ as company receives 1-star rating
KIM Kardashian’s SKIMS customers are “livid” over the company’s “cheap quality” clothes and “no-refund policy,” as the business has been hit with a one-star rating.
, 42, launched SKIMS in 2019, and sells high-priced shapewear, clothes, underwear, bras and more.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal the brand worth $3.2billion has customers turning to the Better Business Bureau for help with various complaints.
The company has 1.24 out of five stars on Better Business Bureau with a total of 296 complaints.
Many of the poor reviews consist of customers complaining about “ripped” items.
One review read from November 2022: “Bought a bodysuit for over $60 for my daughter in April. She opened it end of July early August for her birthday. She wore it three times and never washed it and the fabric ripped heavily.
“They refuse to refund their faulty product. Should not spend 60plus for something you can only wear three times.”
The company responded to the claim: “Customer was outside of the return timeframe and the item was used. Customer was given a courtesy refund for the item. No more actions can be taken.”
A second review from September 2022 read: “I bought the sculpting bodysuit mid-thigh with open gusset. It looks great on but it’s so CHEAP. I've worn the bodysuit twice (have not even washed it yet) and there is a hole on the thigh. For a $70 bodysuit I would think it would last more than two days.”
The company replied: “Customer never reached out to CX regarding the complaint. Customer has been refunded for the item from a return that was requested. If the customer requests further assistance we ask the customer to reach out to [email protected].”

REFUND NIGHTMARE
Other customers complained of difficulty receiving refunds for missing items.
One complained in October 2022: “On 8/7/2022 I made an order for three products on the Skims website. On 8/16/2022 I received two out of three products. I have been waiting for one of the two $68 bodysuits I ordered and have received nothing about it.
“Today I tried to view my order on their website via the link provided on the email and received a 404 page doesn't exist error. This company is a scam and I would not be surprised if they have done this to more people. Give me my money back since you didn't give me my product.”
The company responded: “Customer contacted asked about the status of an unfulfilled item. We advised the item was out of stock and the customer was only charged for one item and a gift bag totaling: $77.21”
Another wrote on BBB in July 2022: “Their return process is fraudulent. I have USPS proof that I sent the package back to them and they have refused to refund my money (I have the receipt from the post office to prove it).
“I have been waiting for over a month and just want my money back at this point. I tried speaking to a customer service agent multiple times and kept being told to wait. I want my money back.”
The company responded: “Customer was instructed by our team on 7/5 to file a claim and wait the time. Customer did not respond to the email after the follow up. Refunded customer now for the order. No more refunds can be issued.”
Forbes reported in January 2022 that SKIMS reached a $3.2billion valuation.
