Emmerdale fans work out massive twist with new character – and a link to a legend
HOME Farm recently welcomed a new face and Gabby Thomas took an immediate liking to the newcomer.
But what if male nanny Nicky rocked up Emmerdale to avenge a former resident of the Dales?
Lewis Cope joined the soap line-up in late 2022 as Nicky after Dawn Taylor and Gabby Thomas decided to focus on their professional lives.
The new Home Farm employee made a good first impression as he instantly hit it off with Clemmie and Lucas.
Gabby Thomas (portrayed by Rosie Bentham) was also charmed by the new nanny and a romance is slowly growing.
However, some ITV viewers believe he's too good to be true and have gone as far as to predict he's hiding a sinister motive.

A handful of them are convinced he may also have a link to Joe Tate who fled the village in 2018 when Kim Tate tried to get him killed.
After surviving the attempted murder, Joe faked his death with the help of Graham Foster.
He was revealed to be alive and living abroad, spending Kim's money, in 2019 - but could he come back?
Soap fans are almost expecting it as one of them penned: "I think Nicky is something to do with Joe?"

Other viewers jumped in, convinced Jamie Tate could have sent Nicky to wreak havoc in his mother Kim's life.
"No it's Jamie not [Alex]", one social media user commented as another echoed in response to a theory about Joe: "Do you mean Jamie?"
Much like Joe before him, Jamie faked his own death in 2021 and his lie was later revealed to his daughter Millie.
