FERN Britton has broken down in tears while taking a trip back to her old childhood home.
The former This Morning host cried as she paid a visit to the house she lived in when she was just five years old.
In the new Channel 5 series There's Not Place Like Home, the 65-year-old rediscovered her childhood in Buckinghamshire.
But the trip soon turned emotional after she stepped foot in the house she grew up in located in Chalfont St Peter.
During Wednesday night's episode, Fern was seen looking around her childhood bedroom and noting how much it had changed since she lived there.
She was seen in a clip, which also aired on Loose Women earlier in the day, saying: "And this was my room.
"I didn't know what was going on in the family at that stage.

"I just knew that it was me and my mum and my sister here and that my father didn't live here.
"It was odd. In those days, people didn't tell you things."
Becoming emotional, Fern continued: "My mother was, as you could imagine, everything. She was mother and father to me which is why I can tell you lots of stories about her."
