Fans were stunned that the American rock guitarist Richie Sambora, who is best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi from 1983 to 2013, was hiding behind the mask.
The contestant's costume consisted of a silver jacket and pants, a shirt that looks like baked beans, cardboard container shoes, and yellow gloves.
There were nods to his former band during his performance.
What have fans said about Jacket Potato?
Many fans speculated that Jacket Potato could either be a celebrity chef like Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver.

They also speculated that it could be another 80s icon, Billy Idol.
However, host Joel Dommett listed off a number of clues that the singer-songwriter had shared throughout his time on the show, including lyrics "shot through the heart" and "halfway there" and the title of his studio album 7800° Fahrenheit.

This season’s first elimination was Ghost, who was unveiled as former football star Chris Kamara.
After he was unmasked, Kamara said of his outfit: "I loved it. It was simple but that’s what I really liked about it.
