Emmerdale’s hunky new nanny has appeared in major ITV drama – but do you recognise him?
HOME Farm welcomed a new face in the form of hunky nanny Nicky.
But where have viewers seen Emmerdale newcomer Lewis Cope before? Some fans may have recognised him.
The actor was introduced to ITV viewers when Gabby Thomas and Dawn Fletcher began to shadow businesswoman Kim Tate.
Nicky was immediately hired as a nanny and asked to take care of Lucas, Clemmie and Thomas while their mothers focused on their professional goals.
However, this wasn't his first ever appearance on the channel.
In 2021, Lewis bagged the role of Marcus Hyde in ITV's iconic period drama Vera.
More Emmerdale
Two years prior to this, in 2019, he had a brief stint in Doctors and rose to fame as Wilfred in the adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's novel, Hetty Feather.
He's also managed to make a name for himself on stage.
"I've done bits of theatre and bits of TV as well, I did Vera for ITV, I've done Doctors, done some stuff on CBBC as well. I've done West Ends - plays, musicals", he told and other press.
Lewis revealed his acting career began at an early age.

His career in theatre even led him to meet a former Emmerdale star, before his own debut in the soap.
Lewis got to know James Barton actor Bill Ward (also known as Charlie Stubbs in Coronation Street) while working in the play The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

And when he finally joined the Emmerdale line-up, Lewis was ecstatic, much like his grandmother.
"It is a massive show, my family have watched it before and my nanny loves it. So, it is nice that my nanny will be able to watch it."
Everyone in Home Farm took an instant liking to Nicky and the character shares chemistry with Gabby Thomas.
But viewers remain suspicious of the new nanny, deeming him too good to be true.
