EastEnders fans work out Freddie Slater is hiding a horrifying secret after police blunder
SOCIAL services and police have been roaming around Albert Square and, particularly, in the Slater household.
But when he was questioned, EastEnders viewers began to believe Freddie Slater might be hiding something.
Many fans began to suspect that Freddie could be the answer to the question on everyone's lips - who fathered Lily Slater's baby?
12-year-old Lily, played by Lillia Turner, recently learned she was pregnant, which prompted an investigation from social services and the police.
However, she let her mother Stacey and grandmother Jean (portrayed respectively by Lacey Turner and Gillian Wright) know she hadn't been abused by anybody.
Lily revealed Ricky Mitchell, Jack Branning's son, was the father of her baby.

But after opening up, she made both women promise not to reveal her secret as she refused to get Ricky into trouble.
This means that other members of her family, in the likes of her adoptive father Martin Fowler, have no idea who she has been intimate with.
Viewers also struggle to believe she's telling the truth - and a recent scene from the London-based soap has convinced them another lad could be the one to blame.
Stacey announced Lily was pregnant to the rest of their family, without revealing the father's identity, before social services began to question them.
Freddie Slater (played by budding TV star Bobby Brazier) was one of the first members of the Slater clan to be questioned by the authorities.
But his attitude immediately caught the attention of BBC One viewers as he appeared defensive.
The 18-year-old was firstly told he "wasn't much older" than Lily before he seemingly panicked about being blamed for her pregnancy.
He assured them he "barely knows" Lily before throwing Stacey under the bus by telling social services she knew who the baby daddy was.
Viewers immediately swarmed over to Twitter, believing Freddie may know more about Lily's pregnancy than he lets on.
'Freddie does look really guilty but I think that EastEnders wants us to think that so they can throw a curveball", one of them wrote.
They added: "I think the Slaters will think he is the dad (even though he’s not) and reveal his paternity in an argument comparing him to his real father."

"Now they’re making Freddie act all suspicious", another echoed as a third jumped in: "Freddie seemed a bit too defensive in that questioning.. I still think there’s a twist to this Lily storyline."
A fourth soap fan commented: "Freddie putting himself straight in the frame there" while a fifth agreed: "Freddie acting suspicious."
"So are we still thinking little Ricky is the dad??? Freddie seems very angry and quick to shout at the police 'Ask Stacey she knows'", another concluded.
Freddie was one of the characters to be instantly suspected of fathering Lily's baby, much like Ricky, Denzel Danes and Nugget Gulati.
But is he really trying to hide something?
Lily eventually decided to tell social services who the father was when she realised she could be taken away from her family.
But she surprisingly didn't explicitly name Ricky and only told the authorities she had slept with "a boy from school."
Is she telling the truth?
