Gabby Thomas humiliated as she’s rejected by hunky newcomer in Emmerdale
GABBY Thomas has tried to impress Kim Tate and convince her she can follow in her footsteps.
Unfortunately, she isn't as successful in her love life as one Emmerdale hunk lets her down gently.
The young mother played by Rosie Bentham first competed with Dawn Taylor to shadow Kim.
But in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, Gabby gets all the spotlight when she manages to impress the businesswoman with her pitch about expanding the business into schools.
Kim even expects Gabby to deliver on it but things don't go completely as planned the following day.
She tries to be confident as she greets Nicola King, councillor Colin and guests from local schools.

A nervous Gabby looks over at Kim who, on the other hand, isn't impressed by her shaky start.
However, Gabby stands her ground when Nicola questions the safety element of the activities on offer and she soon learns she's sold the idea.
Kim offers Gabby the position of deputy and the latter is determined to celebrate.
In later scenes, Gabby urges Home Farm's male nanny Nicky (portrayed by Lewis Cope) to stick around with her as grabs a bottle of bubbly.

The budding businesswoman drunkenly takes the plunge and leans in to kiss Nicky.
Sadly, the hunk doesn't feel the same way and quickly leaps to his feet announcing he doesn't see her that way.
Gabby is left feeling humiliated... and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) witnesses the exchange.
As viewers may know, Gabby has been trying to find love in the eponymous village after only focusing on her life as a mother to young Thomas Tate.
