Emmerdale star teases explosive double exit as couple flee village for fresh start

MACKENZIE Boyd has been desperate to keep his one night stand with Chloe Harris a secret.

But what if the pair fled together for a fresh start away from Emmerdale? Soap star Lawrence Robb hasn’t ruled it out.

The hunk was over the moon when his partner Charity Dingle announced she was pregnant.

Sadly, the pregnancy was ectopic and had to be terminated in heart-breaking scenes.

Mack later assured the Woolpack landlady he didn’t mind not having another child as he was ready to put his dreams of fatherhood to rest.

Since then, he learned that Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) was pregnant with his child following their one night stand and he’s been having mixed feelings ever since.

“He’s put between a rock and a hard place in this situation because he really wanted to be a dad with Charity”, actor Lawrence Robb told .

“He really loves Charity and he’s now going to be a father but it is just with the wrong person.”

As mentioned above, the heartthrob has gone above and beyond to keep his fling with Chloe under wraps in an attempt to keep his relationship afloat.

However, Chloe’s pregnancy has the potential to make him reflect on what he truly wants.

Was there ever a spark to begin with between the young mother-to-be and Mack?

Jessie Elland weighed in: “I think it was kind of an off-the-cuff thing that happened and there are no feelings involved I don’t think.”

“I do love working with you”, Lawrence replied before teasing a potential romance between both of their characters.

“I mean sometimes they hate each other, but two years down the line they might, however.”

“I guess they have got a common denominator of their child,” he added. “So it [a romance] wouldn’t be unheard of.”

With that being said, the pair could even go as far as to leave the eponymous village, thus allowing Mackenzie to be the father he wants to be… and betraying Charity.

Chloe recently considered moving away to Leeds in an attempt to escape the consequences of her actions.

Yet if Chloe and Mack were to leave the Dales together to start afresh, some fans may see it paving the way to a “Vanity” reunion.

Some ITV viewers have been eager to see Charity Dingle rekindle her romance with former fiancée Vanessa Woodfield.

Will it ever truly be in the works?

In the meantime, Chloe and Mackenzie could be exposed by someone close to home.
