LOVE Island host Maya Jama has issued a strict warning to show stars about getting steamy in the villa.
The broadcaster, 28, openly referenced her relationship struggles in her first spot of advice as the 2023 series kicked off in South Africa.
Maya - who left Love Island fans all saying the same thing as she made her grand entrance - quipped how finding a "perfect match" was "never that simple."
Prior to her arrival on the first episode, the former Radio 1 DJ shared some sage words about forging romances on screen.
She told : "Get to know someone as much as you can before you get intimate.
"If you just suss someone out before the romantic stuff comes in, usually it lasts longer, from my experience."

Talking of her responsibilities as host, she added: "My role is to deliver information and facts but, because I love it so much, I just want to be their best mate and be like, ‘Are you sure you really like that guy?’
"I’ll be as involved as I can."
She has certainly stuck to her word and just minutes into the episode told the Love Island 2023 line-up: "Don't forget finding your perfect match is never that simple, trust me I know."
The show’s latest presenter could have been referencing her rollercoaster relationship with rapper Stormzy, who she recently rekindled her relationship with.
