MAYA Jama's Love Island life got off to an eye-popping start last night with a series of stunning costume changes.

The presenter didn't hold back in episode one, showcasing three very different, yet equally jaw-dropping outfits over the course of the show.

First up was a knitted red £200 two-piece by Crolage that showed off her hourglass figure as she stepped elegantly out of a chopper.

She then greeted the new Islanders in the villa wearing a plunging green Roberto Cavalli dress.

As the drama ramped up so did the intensity of Maya's wardrobe.

She returned to the villa at night in a very sexy black Monot dress worth £787.50 - down from £1,500 in the latest sale.

And it's not only her launch night looks that have set pulses racing.

In her promo shots for the series Maya wowed in a £2,850 Annie's Ibiza celestial jumpsuit, a £178 angel pink House of CB miniskirt and corset and a £225 blue Rat & Boa Lucille dress.

As Maya made her debut last night, she immediately warned the contestants: “Don’t forget finding your perfect match is never that simple, trust me I know.”

She could have been referencing her roller coaster relationship with rapper Stormzy, who she recently rekindled her relationship with.

After arriving by helicopter, she was playing cupid by the poolside of the stunning South African villa, with the ten contestants all getting paired up.

She told them: “We now have five lovely couples but will you stay together or will your heads be turned?”

Some of the new villa residents instantly discovered just how fickle the men and women can be during the pairing up process - which this year saw the girls get to choose their partners first.

Liverpudlian biomedical science student Tanya Manhenga, 22, picked 24-year-old airport security officer Shaq Muhammad, 24, from London.

Then Anna-May Robey, 20, a payroll administrator from Swansea arrived and selected 24-year-old PE Teacher Kai Fagan, from Manchester.

That was followed by make-up artist Lana Jenkins, 25, from Luton making her entrance before pairing up with 25-year-old Essex boy and financial adviser, Ron Hall.

But the cat was put among the pigeons when 27-year-old ring girl Olivia Hawkins from Brighton turned up and stole Kai from Anna-May, who admitted: “I’m a bit gutted.”

More controversy followed when Kai stepped forward to be paired up with Tanyel Revan, a 26-year-old hairstylist from North London who took him up on his offer.

That left Anna-May and Olivia to select from the remaining singletons - farmer Will Young, 23 from Bucks, and TV salesman Harris Namani, 21, from Doncaster.

Anna-May picked Harris and Olivia and Will ended up together by default.
