The hunk is desperate to get pregnant Chloe out of his home after his partner Charity Dingle (and Sarah's grandmother) allowed her to move in with them.
Mack is terrified everybody in the eponymous village will find out he's the father of Chloe's unborn baby, particularly after his friend Nate Robinson figured it out on his own.
Desperate to get rid of Chloe and focus on his relationship with Charity, Mack told the young mother-to-be that he's paid the deposit on a flat.

Chloe was upset and feels pushed out while Mackenzie insists she should move out the following day.
As a witness of the tense exchange, Sarah became more curious than ever and decides to take action.
The teen shocked Chloe when she asked her if Mackenzie is the father of her baby.
Chloe feigned shock at Sarah's accusations and manipulated her into backing down by telling her she'd never do anything to hurt her friend's family.

She told Sarah: "I would never do that to Charity or to you I mean you're like family. And to be honest I can't believe you think I would do something like that."
Sarah was left feeling guilty, unaware she's been right all along.
In later scenes, a stern Chloe urged Mackenzie to get a grip as his spiralling is making people suspicious of him.
She told him about Sarah but quickly reassured him that she threw her off their scent.
But could Sarah still be on to them?
