Love Island fans convinced Carol Vorderman is appearing on celeb version as she poses with stars in villa

CAROL Vorderman and a host of celeb pals raised hopes of a celebrity version of Love Island today.

The 61-year-old star was seen with a host of other big names in a villa in videos posted on Instagram.

She was seen posing with This Morning’s Alison Hammond, 47, ‘Judge’ Robert Rinder, 44, and BBC Sport star Alex Scott, 38.

Also there with them was Loose Women panellist Denise Welch, 64.

Many thought the all-star version of the ITV2 show was being revived – with Carol among the famous faces.

One follower wrote, on a picture posted by Alison: “Is this new celebrity love island?”

Another insisted: “Middle aged love island ? I am here for it.”

A third echoed the views, posting: “Is it a normal looking celebrity love island as I’d be totally down for that.”

Also in the picture was Jason Vale, whose Juicy Oasis retreat in Portugal they were all at.

Another clip shared by many of the group showed them all dancing about in the sunshine.

It’s not known why there were so many TV celebs on the same course, but Carol suggested she was there for leisure rather than a TV project.

The star, who has been to the retreat before, wrote on Instagram: “JUICY OASIS.

“Had the best 10 days here. Every day…….Walking half a marathon and a mountain ..and a gym sesh…and a massage. Loads of mates here too..”

Alex Scott replied: “Best couple of days here with you again x x.”
