Love Island fans claim Shaq is a ‘game player’ for forcing relationship to stay in villa
LOVE Island’s Shaq has been called a “game player” after fans accused him of forcing his relationship with Tanya.
The airport security worker, 24, has been very keen to move the relationship along at speed and last night he and Tanya kissed in bed.
But fans are convinced that Shaq is trying to “force” his romance with Tanya in a bid to become the next Indiyah and Dami, who won over the hearts of the nation last year and finished third on the series.
One viewer wrote: “Shaq wants him and Tanya to be the new Dami and Indiyah soooo bad.”
Another posted: “Shaq is really trying to be a Dami and Indiyah, it’s so unnatural, leave it alone.”
“Tanya & Shaq are not our Dami & Indiyah respectfully it’s giving Mike & Leanne vibes… icky,” a third echoed.
Someone else commented: “Shaq trying to be Dami and Indiyah 2.0 sir stop it, I feel like he’s a game player.”
Another added: “Shaq shut up man. You cannot be the new Dami and Indiyah. Can you not.”
The Londoner has been smitten by Scouse Tanya since first clocking her in Cape Town but until now she has resisted his charms.
Last night the pair got close after the recoupling, he said: “That was intense — something like that kind of puts things into perspective, in those kinds of situations you…”
Tanya asked: “You what?” to which Shaq said: “I just want to keep you close.”
She swerved his kiss until they shared a private moment in bed.
And the next morning, she told the girls he “got so excited”.
Meanwhile, Shaq bragged to the boys: “The kiss was unreal.”
Twitter soon exploded with reaction to the series’ first steamy bedtime smooch.
“Shaq finally got his kiss from Tanya,” one wrote.
“How Shaq slept after achieving a kiss from Tanya,” added a second.
“Shaq and Tanya needs to take it easy, my gosh,” chipped in a third.
Meanwhile, second newcomer David Salako asked out Tanya, leaving the biomedical student torn between the new bombshell and security guard Shaq.
