Love Island fans slam star for red flags after shock comment

LOVE Island fans have slammed Tanyel after she threatened to 'throw a shoe' at another islander.

The feisty lass, 26, sparked alarm among the ITV2 show's fandom, who thought her comment was a "red flag".

It came after Tanyel admitted to Kai that she was fuming after seeing him chatting to Anna-May.

She told him: "I actually literally wanted to get something and chuck it at your head.

"I feel disrespected when someone's talking to other people, kissing other people. It makes me sick because 'hello - I am the woman here.' Not anyone else."

Fans were not impressed by her choice of language, especially the threat of violence.

One tweeted: "Tanyel wanting to throw something at Kai’s head because he was simply talking to another girl is a danger zone a walking redflag right there."

"Kai, Tanyel is a walking red flag! RUN BREV RUN,"; added a second.

A third observed: "What the hell Tanyel?! It's Love Island, why she grilling man for talking? That weird verbal vomit outburst is a big red flag."

"Help! Tanyel I don't think people usually get the red flags out on day four. You're supposed to wait a lil bit," a fourth pointed out.

Tanyel and Kai coupled up on the first night in the villa.

She poached him from Olivia, who prior to that had pinched him from Anna-May.

Kai has proved very much in demand with Zara also making the moves on him in tonight's episode, when she expressed interest in getting to know him.

Tanyel, meanwhile, also made it clear to Ron that she had her eye on him after her chat with Kai.

Ron was taken aback to learn she fancied him and accused her of being "quiet" during her first few days in the villa.
