DAVID Platt and Stephen Reid had a heated argument over Max Turner's defence fees.
But eagle-eyed Coronation Street fans couldn't help but notice something was amiss during their scrap.
Max Turner is in hot water after his involvement with Griff Reynolds' far-right group and things got more serious following the horrific stabbing of Alya Nazir.
In recent scenes, the Speed Daal co-owner was attacked in her own restaurant as the racist thug's legacy lives on despite him being arrested.
Unfortunately for Max, he's being blamed for Griff's influence over the cobbles after the activist used him for his video editing skills, which allowed him to spread his despicable views.
The lad played by Paddy Bever faces charges of encouragement of terrorism and incitement to attempted murder.

While Max awaits trial, his father David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) is willing to go above and beyond to fight for him.
Thankfully, the barber met a defence solicitor who could turn things around for Max as she admitted it was clear the youngster had been groomed and was, therefore, more of a victim than a perpetrator.
However, just as things were slowly looking up for David during last night's trip to Weatherfield, he realised he'd need help to pay Max's defence fees.
This prompted him to ask for help and while his mother Gail Platt (Helen Worth) was more reluctant to get her chequebook out, his grandmother Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) decided she could give David a hand.

Meanwhile, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) silently panicked when the hairdresser spoke about using the equity release money to pay for Max's fees.
The money-grabber managed to convince Gail not to help David but when the overprotective father found out, a huge row ensued between both men.
David harshly confronted his uncle by throwing him up against a wall before Gail intervened.
While initially immersed in all the drama, many fans were left scratching their heads following this scene as they tried to figure out how David managed to overpower Stephen.
This is due to the failing businessman's recent activities in the cobbles as he rose to villainous fame as a murderer.
"How did Stephen kill two men when scrawny Dave can throw him onto the wall, like he's one of those slimy alien baby toys", one soap viewer Tweeted alongside laughing crying emojis.
Another echoed: "Stephen killed and managed to lift a rugby player on his own and he gets shoved against a wall by 4ft midget David."
A third fan gave David a stern warning: "David getting violent with Stephen. Be careful, David Stephen is a killer."

David is clearly playing with fire by going head to head with his uncle.
The pair have always struggled to see eye to eye as both have been trying to get their hands on Audrey's money in recent months.
But while David has given up on his own dastardly deeds, Stephen has spiralled out of control and is willing to exploit residents out of whopping amounts of cash.
To make matters worse, Audrey's prodigal son has two murders under his belt as Leo Thompkins and his father Teddy both caught on to what he had been doing.
When Audrey spoke of using her equity money in the Rovers, Stephen could be seen feeling awkward, knowing this would mean he'd have no funds and have to resort to yet another crime.
