How long has Gurlaine Kaur Garcha been in EastEnders?
The actress' upcoming exit will put an end to several years of explosive and sometimes heart-breaking drama.
As fans will indubitably remember, Gurlaine made her EastEnders debut in August, 2019, as Suki and Nish Panesar's daughter Ash.
The sister of Kheerat, Jags and Vinny Panesar, Ash was also thrown into the spotlight as Iqra Ahmed's bisexual Sikh girlfriend.
During less than four years, Gurlaine's on-screen alter ego has had the chance to explore her sexuality, much to the discomfort and disapproval of her cold-hearted mother Suki.
This wouldn't be the first time Gurlaine leaves our screens as Ash made a swift exit last year after being injured in a homophobic attack from Neil Hughes' hate group but she eventually returned.
