A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton flooded with support from fans as she shares ‘frightening’ health update

A PLACE in the Sun's Laura Hamilton has received an outpoor of support from fans after she shared a 'frightening' health update.

The Channel 4 property host, 40, shared that she had gone to get her skin professionally examined recently.

But she was left “frightened” after seeing the results of her skin analysis.

The star admitted that, although she always makes sure wear an SPF 50 - she was left stunned by how damaged her skin was from the sun.

Talking about her experienced of getting her skin scanned, Laura captioned the post: "This was insane. Happy Saturday! Hope you're having a good weekend so far."

The presenter continued: "Feeling good, got up this morning, did a workout and started doing some admin whilst there's bits and pieces going on in my house at the moment (headboard being fitted, some curtains going up).

“And then I'm heading to town to go watch a show this afternoon which I'm really excited about,” she continued.

“But yesterday morning I went and had a facial scan, and I just want to point out this isn't an ad or an endorsement of any kind.

“It was something that was recommended to me through Obagi,” she explained in reference to the health brand.

“They basically scan your face and show you the damage on your skin and sort of the deep damage.

“And I've always been someone who's really mindful of wearing factor 50 sunscreen and looking after my skin, but… Wow, it was frightening.

“And I just want to share these results with you and just remind you no matter what age you are, wear sunscreen.”

She then shared a montage of herself visiting the skin expert, who scanned her face so she could see the areas of her skin that had been damaged.

In the reel, Laura was also shown getting different serums and light therapy treatments for her skin.

Fans were quick to rush to the comments to give their support to Laura - but she has since deleted the post.
