Paul Foreman rushed to hospital after being crushed in horror van crash in Coronation Street
PETER Barlow is excited to get his dream motorbike next week and everybody wants to take it for a spin.
Unfortunately, this turns nightmarish for Paul Foreman as he's hit by an erratic driver next week in Coronation Street.
After finding a motorbike for sale with the help of Abi Webster, the cabbie played by Chris Gascoyne is excited to try out his new ride.
In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, he then offers Paul (Peter Ash) to drive it.
But in a shocking turn of events, Paul is astride Peter's bike when an Underworld van crashes into him.
He winces in pain and is rushed to A&E by Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges).

It's soon clear that an unexpected character is responsible for Paul's ordeal - and it's none other than Underworld boss Carla Connor (Alison King).
Moments before the accident, the businesswoman walls at the garage to collect her car but Abi (Sally Carman) refuses to hand over her keys, sensing she's not herself.
Carla then spots the Underworld van and starts the engine before turning down the street, eventually crashing into Paul on her husband's bike.
But there's more to Carla's behaviour than meets the eye.

Prior to this, Carla checks her diary, telling Peter she was convinced she had a meeting with Dick Havisham planned.
In the factory, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) assures her she'd cancelled the meeting.
But she's left flustered when Dick Havisham calls wondering where she's got to.
Unbeknownst to her, Stephen is to blame for this as he continuously laces her cuppas with LSD.
The failing businessman is hellbent on revenge next week in the Manchester-based program after trying to give his finances a boost through his business venture with Sarah Platt and Michael Bailey.
Determined to take over the Underworld factory, he even made out that Carla was his PA to an important client, before being put back in his place.

Yet spiking Carla, making Peter believe her psychosis may have returned, wouldn't be the worse Stephen has done in the cobbles.
