Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel issued stern warning as famous home up for sale
ESCAPE to the Chateau's Dick and Angel have been given a warning by the French government after a mansion that appeared on the Channel 4 show went up for sale.
The popular programme has kept fans entertained for over nine series.
It's kept viewers up to date on the antics of Dick and Angel Strawbridge before coming to an end last year.
Now, Dick and Angel have been issued a stern warning by the government in France - after putting up the mansion that featured on Escape to the Chateau DIY up for sale.
The French government has issued new guidelines requiring property owners to declare their occupancy.
It has been made clear that the notice must be made by June 30, 2023 to avoid any penalty fees for failure to comply.

Due to their successful tour across the UK and beyond, the family spends some time away from their home.
The chateau, which is located in Saint-Maixent-l'École in the west of the nation, is for sale for £724,916.
The chateau is 15,000 square metres in size and has nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Additionally, it offers a bed & breakfast facility, a British grocery store, and a Victorian tea parlour that is completely licenced.

The chateau features a lot of regular features including exposed beams, stone walls and two large vaulted cellars.

The Château is already well-known locally and further afield due to its starring role on Ch4’s Escape to the Chateau DIY.
