Loose Women’s Katie Piper sends support to Vanessa Feltz and says ‘we’re all behind you’

KATIE Piper has sent her support to Vanessa Feltz following her split from Ben Ofoedu after 16 years.

Yesterday broadcaster Vanessa revealed she was at the salon getting a makeover after after allegedly discovering evidence Ben had cheated on her.

During today's Loose Women, the ladies were discussing whether or not a new hairstyle helps with heartbreak.

Before getting into the debate Katie said: "I think its’ a confidence thing.

"I really admire [Vanessa], we all feel her pain, after 16 years. we’re all behind you."

In a video on Instagram the Talk TV star told fans: "Morning, I'm at the hairdresser, and I'm thinking, when all else fails get that barnet fixed. So that is what I'm doing."

This week  during her usual slot on This Morning, with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby revealing they've been supporting her behind the scenes.

The agony aunt told her ITV colleagues that she felt "sad, hurt and terribly humiliated".

And it ended up being her time to be counselled as Phil and Holly Willoughby offered words of comfort.

Phil said: ";We have been talking you through this for weeks.

"There are a hundred hugs for you when you go off camera today."

Vanessa told the pair that Ben's alleged infidelity was "a terrible shock" and "also a kind of gradual thing" as she pieced things together.

Vanessa continued: "I don’t want to dwell on the details, I really do want to focus on the future."

Phil told her: "There really is a bright future for you."

And Vanessa said: "I am telling myself there is a future, I really want there to be."
