AMANDA Holden was seen getting emotional tonight as she was joined by her rarely-seen step-dad on her new show.
The Britain's Got Talent host was left touched after her dad Frank told her he was "proud" of her in a sweet moment.
Amanda, 51, had flown her dad out to see her in Sicily as part of her new show Amanda and Alan's Italian Job.
He joined her for the BBC programme, which sees the TV presenter and comedian Alan Carr redecorate a house.
Leslie Collistor had been brought in to help Amanda build a four-poster bed after decorating the lavish bedroom.
She was seen getting emotional after Leslie admitted he was "proud" of her as they built the furniture together.

Walking side-by-side with her rarely seen parent, Amanda said: "As my parents are visiting, I've roped in my DIY-loving dad Les to help me build it."
The father-daughter duo were seen getting stuck in building the bed as they laughed and joked together.
He placed a loving arm around her at one point, as they hammered in the pieces together on the floor.
"My dad is so good at DIY," Amanda gushed. "He's all self-taught. He had a book called Reader's Digest when I was a kid."

She joked towards Les: "I said to mum this morning that bodge it and leg it are your names. You're living up to it."
Amanda wielded the hammer as she finished off the build, before they admired their handiwork.
"It's perfect," Leslie said as Amanda detailed all the work she had done on the Italian home.
"I'm proud of you for doing plastering," he said, before Amanda stopped him by placing her hand on his shoulder.
Giggling and burying her head into her dad's shoulder, she said: "You said you are proud of me!"
Amanda later told the cameras about the emotional moment: "If he says I've done a good job then I've done a good job!"
Amanda and Alan's Italian Job returns next Friday at 8:30pm on BBC One
