Lily James splits from rocker boyfriend after two-year romance despite engagement rumours
ACTRESS Lily James has split from her rock star boyfriend Michael Shuman after a two-year romance.
The 33-year-old Hollywood star was first linked to the Queens of the Stone Age musician, 37, when they were pictured kissing outside a boutique hotel on Valentine’s Day in 2021.
And they went on to spark rumours last summer when she was spotted wearing a gold ring on her engagement finger while at the Glastonbury Festival, in Somerset.
But sources last night told how the pair have now gone their separate ways.
One said: “Lily and Michael have grown apart in recent months and have now decided to end their relationship.
“They just couldn’t make it work as a couple, but they both wish each other the best for the future.”

Lily, who played Pamela Anderson in Disney plus series Pam and Tommy, grew close to Michael after they stayed together while she was shooting for her latest rom-com movie What’s Love Got To Do With It?
She is then said to have invited him to stay at her £3million London home.
A month later, the loved-up pair were pictured hand in hand as they visited Michael’s parents, former Disney production manager Ira Shuman and wife Janet, in LA.
Michael, who also plays with band GLU, was at the former Downton Abbey star’s side as she watched Sir Paul McCartney headline the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm in June.

And their relationship was still going strong in August, when the couple were pictured viewing £5million properties in North London with her mum, Ninette Thomson.
But newly-single Lily was this week enjoying a break in the Maldives after jetting off to the £3,000-a-night Joali resort with close friend and fellow actress Gala Gordon, 31, who played Christine Keeler in The Crown in 2017.
Relaxing in the sunshine at the resort, Lily told pals on social media how she had “found heaven on Earth.”
Lily, who is also known for her roles in Cinderella and Mamma Mia 2, previously dated The Crown actor Matt Smith, 40, for five years before they split in late 2019.
She was also linked to married actor Dominic West, 53, during filming for series The Pursuit of Love.
The actress is soon to star in forthcoming film The Iron Claw as the wife of real-life wrestler Kevin Von Erich, played by Zac Efron, 35.
