CORONATION Street fans are all saying the same thing as a show legend celebrate a major milestone.

Actor Peter Gunn is best known for his role as former headteacher Brian Packham.

Gunn, 60, has played the role of the loveable character since 2010.

While he's departed the cobbles between then and now he's become a fan-favourite.

And now the star has celebrated a major milestone on the Coronation Street set.

The ITV soap posted a snap of Peter alongside two other legendary actresses.

Posing with Barbara Knox who plays Rita and Patti Clare who portrays Mary, Peter marked his 60th birthday.

The show said: "Happy 60th Birthday Peter Gunn!

"Thanks for making us smile every day. Have a great time celebrating."

Peter has been inundated with positive comments following the post, with fans all praising his acting abilities.

One said: "Happy Birthday Peter, you're a great actor xx."

Another commented: "Have a lovely day you're brilliant."

"Happy Birthday the street is better with you in it," said a third.

While a fourth replied: "Such a fabulous actor, have a lovely day."

While in real life Peter is all smiles, his character is about to be faced with a tough storyline.

Viewers will soon watch as Brian becomes homeless following a fault with the electricity at his flat.
