This Morning star reveals shock split from husband and is ‘looking forward to happier next chapter’

A THIS Morning star has revealed her split from her husband as she told fans she's "looking forward to being happier".

The TV presenter took to the ITV show yesterday to reveal she was moving onto the "next chapter" after the shock break up.

Georgina Burnett, who often joined the This Morning host's on the ITV show, revealed she and her husband had split up.

Georgina, 44, took to Twitter to open up about being a new "single mum" after sharing the day with her daughter.

“Time to share some personal news that my marriage has split up,” Georgina tweeted to her followers.

“Don’t worry I’m not alone today and I’m excited about my next happier chapter as a fortunate single mum,” she added.

Brushing past the news, Georgina went on to advertise some skirting boards that she was "excited" about.

A number of Georgina's fans and friends flooded the comments section to send her loving wishes.

“So sorry to hear your news, that is always sad to hear about a marriage breaking down, but the most important thing in life is that you remain happy!" one fan penned.

Another chimed in: “Bless you Georgie, I’m glad to hear you’ve looking at it as a beginning rather than an end though."

"All the best for the future, Georgia," a third added, while a fourth concluded: "Sorry to hear of your personal news."

Georgina met husband Andy Flawn at university, and the pair shared a seven bedroom £1.5million home in Kent.

The couple share a daughter, who is rarely shown online.

It comes after fans of This Morning were left open-mouthed last year as Georgina presented the show all dressed up.

She transformed into a sexy kitten for the Halloween special segment, as she got into the spirit of the holiday.

Those watching at home couldn’t get over it and took to Twitter to discuss her appearance, as they were left stunned.

One person tweeted: “Never realised how hot Georgina was till today," as a second said: "Sexy AF, nice."

While a third wrote: “So my husband has looked up from his phone and is glued to the TV – I wonder why."

And a fourth cheekily joked: “I wonder if Georgina was under strict instructions to bring this costume home."

Georgina is an Australian-born British weather presenter and television presenter, and regularly features on This Morning.
