Amanda Abbington plays Rowan
Amanda Abbington is best known for playing Miss Mardle in Mr Selfridge.
She also played Mary Watson in Sherlock, the BBC adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories.
Her other credit includes We Are Not Alone, Wolfe, The Unfriend, I Hate Suzie, and The Family Pile.
Sunetra Sarker plays Varisha
Sunetra Sarker is known for her roles as Nisha Batra in Brookside, Anji Mittel in No Angels, and Zoe Hanna in Casualty.

Since 2017, she has starred in the Channel 4 drama series Ackley Bridge as Kaneez Paracha, for which she was awarded Best TV Character at the Asian Media Awards.
In 2014, she took part in the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Brendan Cole and lasted 10 weeks.
Warren Brown plays Patrick
Warren Martin Brown is best known for his roles as Donny Maguire in Shameless and Andy Holt in Hollyoaks.
He also played DS Justin Ripley in the BBC crime drama Luther and as Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister in the series Strike Back.
Brown also appeared in Doctor Who.
Francis Magee plays Mal Taylor
Francis Magee portrayed Liam Tyler in the British soap opera EastEnders from 1993 to 1995.
He has also appeared in a number of TV shows and feature films, including Sahara, Layer Cake and The Calling.
In 2016, he appeared in an episode of Black Mirror titled Men Against Fire.

Desperate Measures kicks off at 9 pm on Channel 5 on Tuesday, February 21.
